We are a diverse local union of skilled journey-level and apprentice carpenters specializing in commercial concrete form work, from bridges to high rises, as well as commercial tenant improvement, interior finish work, scaffold building and tradeshow carpentry.
The entire Local Union 30 Membership is made up of Carpenters from all over the world. We are a full-referral union of over 3400 members. Our office hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. There is a membership meeting the second Monday of each month starting at 6:00 p.m.

Monthly dues, payable on the 1st of each month, are $20.00 for members on dues check-off, plus per capita tax if required. Dues payments can be made by mail—or in person at the local—by check, money order or cash.
For the member's convenience we accept credit or debit cards with a VISA, MasterCard or Discover logo. Card payments can be made in person or by phone. You may also authorize Local 30 to deduct your monthly dues from your Qualstar Vacation Account by completing an authorization form available at the local union office.

Accident Donation Benefit

If you are injured on or off the job you may request from the membership an accident donation benefit of $125.00 per week for a maximum of eight (8) weeks. In order to qualify for an accident donation you must:

  1. be a member in Goodstanding of Local 30 for one year;
  2. submit one letter requesting the accident donation and another letter from your doctor stating the injury and approximate date you will return to work (your request will be put to the membership at the next general meeting); and
  3. submit updated injury reports from your doctor.
Members are limited to one donation per accident, per calendar year.
